Robothink Sussex Robotics and Coding Camps are offered in 3 different levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Students are taken through an accelerated program where robotics and coding concepts are covered and explored through project-based lessons.
Just like our after-school program, camps are offered to children ages 6 through 13. Each child is given a curriculum that suits best their knowledge and experience level. Camps are typically 1-week long and offered in different formats.
Half-day camps are either morning session camps (from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) or afternoon session camps (from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM).
Full-day camps start at 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.* To register for full day, simply add both sessions - morning and afternoon.
Besides appointed camp session hours, we offer before and after extended care as well. Hours for extended care are 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM for morning session camps and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM for afternoon session camps. Our extended care is only $100 per week.
While trying to adjust to current situation to address health concerns due to pandemic, we developed an Online Coding Camp option. If your future engineer isn't able to attend one of our in-person summer camps, they can still have fun while learning from the comfort of your home. Here are the options for our online camps:
Introduction to Coding, for children ages 7 and up with little to no coding experience
Video Game Design and Coding, for children ages 9 and up with little to no coding experience
Each online camp is 4 days long, Monday through Friday, where children meet with instructor in our virtual classroom for approx. 1 hour 30 min to learn code and create video games.
